When it comes to guilty pleasures there are many. Some people binge watch reality tv. Others find people watching a guilty pleasure. There are those who love getting dressed up to go absolutely nowhere, but Morris Chestnut (who said he’s been mistaken for Charlamagne tha god) has a different perspective–sweets. We never pegged Morris as a sweets lover, but he’s admittedly got it really bad.
When asked what his guilty pleasure was he said, “I love love love sweets. It’s really bad having a sweet tooth. Boys and girls out there don’t get a sweet tooth. I always have to have something sweet. It’s really difficult when I’m trying to get ready for a role or get ready for a scene, but I love sweets so much I choose my restaurants by the dessert and not by the entree.”
Morris loves a good mix of cookies, doughnuts, pies, tarts, cupcakes with sprinkles, brownies, canolis, macaroons, sandwich cookies, chocolate lava cake and cherry cheesecake–and we don’t blame him. Guilty pleasures can be a good thing, as long as they’re enjoyed in moderation and are not harmful or destructive habits. Guilty pleasures can help you take a mental break from the stresses of daily life and get out of problem-solving mode. They can also be a way to kick back and simply do (or in this case) eat what you love.
